I had recently opened up a Cafe Press shop for fun, for a creative outlet and for a place to express my humor or other things people might like. As an avid WoW fanatic and gamer, I know you can't always find expressions you want in a standard department store.
I'm also a mother of two and know moms like cute little sayings for their unique one (only so much plain blue and plain pink one can handle) and know cute sayings go great at babyshowers *Sleep is for the weak* etc.
Cafe press allowed me to work at a contractor rate, I design images and upload, if they sell I get a commision, if not no harm no foul.
Recently a mom asked me to design a Onesie in honor of Pluto, "A Planet's a planet no matter how small". The tee was uploaded to my site and labeled and tagged appropriately. I began to wonder how "google-able" my store was. I typled the phrase into some search engines, and 0 queries were found.
Zero, eh?
That's a bummer that if someone is searching for a phrase/design I have, they won't find it if they're not specifically already searching on cafe press site. So I figured, why not throw some of the sayings and designs on here, and then direct people to my site - they might be looking for a murloc tee or a miracle baby tee, and this way I have a slight better chance of being found.
Here's hoping!
